These days, all attention at ºÚÁÏÉçapp is focused on construction and ultimately the achievement of the ºÚÁÏÉçapp Tokamak's First Plasma. But at the same time, there are those who are already thinking beyond that date. During operation, how will we control the shape of the plasma and optimize plasma performance? Plasma control will be a crucial factor for the successful operation of ºÚÁÏÉçapp. Axel Winter, a physicist from Germany and one of the first Monaco-ºÚÁÏÉçapp Fellows, is leading the development of ºÚÁÏÉçapp's sophisticated plasma control system.
