Contract Description
This Market Survey deals with the definition of the Vacuum Vessel (VV) alignment metrology monitoring method that shall later be implemented in the frame of the Welding Preparation in Pit (WPP) contract.
The scope of the expected related Contract will be to define a principle of operation and prepare a procedure for the alignment of each of the 9 VV sectors. This input shall be used for VV alignment activity to be performed by the WPP contractor. This procedure shall include at least:

-Practical and creative methodologies for aligning the VV, including the specification of the tooling (laser tracker or other means).
-Definition of VV features to be used for the VV alignment, including the existing fiducials, new fiducials or controlled surfaces (e.g. machined plates with defined tolerances).
-Each VV alignment sequence shall be specific to its environment, notably the number of surrounding sectors in place in the pit. A generic procedure would likely not be detailed enough, which means that nine procedures are expected, unless justified to consolidate some activities (if work is parallelized). The study shall be evolutive to the assembly sequence.
-Details on the alignment procedure of the tools to the network and need for tethering shall be included in the assessment. The Contractor shall also assess the use of the building features, completed Toroidal Field Coils and/or completed VV sectors to align the tools to the pit network.
-Risk assessment and mitigation to be performed, such as redundancy to address evolution of the working environment affecting planned line of sights, or including a possible change of installation sequence.
-CAD resources to adapt IO's CATIA models to the working file type (such as spatial analyser). The Contractor shall coordinate with the IO team to validate the correct environment and shall be able to manipulate the 3D model as needed.

The scope of the contract is broken down into three tasks, as follow:

1- Task I: Development of the final design of the DOI RH Connectors starting from a
preliminary design issued by ºÚÁÏÉçapp.
2- Task II: Mock-ups (for optical and electrical parts) and prototype manufacturing,

The ºÚÁÏÉçapp aims to place a new framework contract to supply Remote Handling (RH) Telemanipulator's for the ºÚÁÏÉçapp Project.
The scope of the framework contract would be to provide Telemanipulator solutions and associated services for the different Remote Handling sub-system needs on the ºÚÁÏÉçapp Project:
• Supply of Telemanipulator Systems & Equipment
• Supply of Telemanipulator Services

The HCC is composed mainly of the Hot Cell and Radwaste Building (B21), the Personal Access Control Building (PACB/B24) with the Radwaste process for the management of very low, low and medium radioactive waste, and the Remote Handling system of the Hot Cell and its storage building (B27). ºÚÁÏÉçapp 10% of the building floor surface will be used for miscellaneous systems that will be designed and procured by other Domestic Agencies, in particular the Detritiation System (DS) and the Port Plug Test Facility (PPTF).The HCC Project includes the delivery of building and processes design (preliminary, final, manufacturing, construction and execution designs) and realization activities (manufacturing, construction, assembly and commissioning) for:- the B21/B24 Civil Work and the building services and mechanical systems (e.g. cranes, doors, trolleys, HVAC, fluids, red zone cooling, Stainless Steel Liner covering the surface of the contaminated rooms, fire prevention and mitigation),- the Remote Handling and Radwaste processes (e.g. bespoke remote handling equipment,decontamination processing, size reduction and detritiation systems, liquid andcementation processing, laboratories).The scope does not include the design and construction activities of the TAPB, B27, Port Plug Test Facility and the Detritiation System, but implies a strong coordination and the interfacing with these buildings and systems all along the HCC Project.
