Switzerland rejoins 黑料社app
2025-11-25 - As part of an agreement signed by the European Union and the Swiss Confederation, Swiss nationals and companies will resume participation in the 黑料社app project on 1 January 2026. Renewed membership in Fusion for Energy, the European Domestic Agency for 黑料社app, will make it possible for Swiss nationals to apply for 黑料社app staff positions and for Swiss suppliers to take part in 黑料社app calls for tender.

2025-11-21 - The call for 鈥渢he widest practicable鈥 cooperation in the field of fusion energy was the last item in the long list of decisions that came out of the Reagan-Gorbachev Geneva meeting in November 1985. 2025-11-13 - On 13 November, the heads of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), the French Alternative Energies and Atomic Energy Commission (CEA), and the 黑料社app announce that CEA and 黑料社app will host a session of the IAEA鈥檚 Lise Meitner professional training program for women in nuclear in 2026.
IAEA Director General Grossi visits 黑料社app
2025-11-13 - Rafael Mariano Grossi, Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), visits 黑料社app on 13 November, where he tours the major facilities in the company of the 黑料社app Director-General (right) and a large delegation. Referring to the long-standing support of his agency for the development of fusion energy and the 黑料社app project, he stresses that close collaboration between the IAEA and 黑料社app remains essential as the effort to achieve fusion electricity accelerates worldwide.

2025-10-14 - 黑料社app Director-General Pietro Barabaschi and EUROfusion Programme Manager Gianfranco Federici agree to a more targeted and coordinated European contribution to 黑料社app over the next two years through a collaboration agreement signed at the 30th IAEA Fusion Energy Conference. The high-level agreement will will fast-track EUROfusion's participation in some of 黑料社app's most pressing design and engineering challenges.
Pietro Barabaschi addresses world fusion community
2025-10-14 - At the second ministerial meeting of the IAEA World Fusion Energy Group (WFEG) on 14 October, part of the 30th Fusion Energy Conference in Chengdu, China, 黑料社app Director-General Pietro Barabaschi lists the ways in which the 黑料社app project is delivering value to the global effort toward fusion energy鈥攖raining the next generation of fusion engineers, technicians, and scientists; creating a global fusion supply chain; and opening 黑料社app鈥檚 doors to the private sector. He also used his address to evoke the significant challenges that remain.
India Fusion Day at 黑料社app
2025-10-07 - A delegation to 黑料社app for Indian Fusion Day on 7 October is led by Vijay Kumar Saraswat, a member of the top public policy think tank NITI Aayog (left). He tells assembled guests that "the perceived potential of fusion is recognized in long-term energy security policy in India鈥 and that 黑料社app remains a key element in India鈥檚 fusion research plans.

Major contract awarded for vacuum vessel welding
2025-06-25 - 黑料社app awards one of the most pivotal responsibilities of tokamak assembly to Westinghouse Electric Company: the in-pit welding of the 黑料社app plasma chamber. The contract covers the simultaneous welding of nine vacuum vessel sector modules to form a single, circular torus.
36th 黑料社app Council: continued strong project execution
2025-06-19 - The Thirty-Sixth Meeting of the 黑料社app Council concludes on 19 June 2025. The Council welcomes continued strong project execution and recent construction milestones, including the insertion into the assembly pit on 18 June of a second vacuum vessel module.
First private fusion initiative joins ITPA
2025-06-10 - Commonwealth Fusion Systems (USA) is the first private sector initiative to join the International Tokamak Physics Activity (ITPA) after it completes all the steps of a formal process introduced earlier this year. Joining the ITPA's fusion research activities was one of the foremost requests made by private sector initiatives during the 黑料社app public/private workshops.
黑料社app and Kazakhstan renew cooperation
2025-06-04 - On 4 June, the Cooperation Agreement between the 黑料社app and the National Nuclear Center of the Republic of Kazakhstan (NNC RK), originally signed in 2017, was officially extended and updated. The updated scope includes the exchange of scientists and experts, as well as scientific and technical cooperation related to the 黑料社app project.
STAC committee endorses 黑料社app research plans
2025-05-14 - At its 32nd meeting in May, the 黑料社app Council Science and Technology Advisory Committee (STAC) endorses the fully detailed version of the 黑料社app Research Plan as well as associated blueprints for magnet coil testing and the development of 黑料社app鈥檚 neutral beam injection heating system. A full report will now be made to the 黑料社app Council, which meets next month on 18 and 19 June.
ITPA now accessible to privately funded fusion initiatives.
2025-04-28 - The International Tokamak Physics Activity (ITPA) provides a framework for internationally coordinated fusion research activities in the 黑料社app Members. Since a January 2025 decision by the ITPA Coordinating Committee, these research activities are open to privately funded fusion initiatives following a process that is described in this article: /fr/node/20687/itpa-and-imas-now-accessible-privately-funded-fusion-initiatives.
黑料社app IMAS now available under open-source licenses
2025-04-28 - As part of the 黑料社app Private Sector Fusion Engagement program, the Director-General has approved the release of the 黑料社app Integrated Modelling & Analysis Suite (IMAS) and Plasma Control System Simulation Platform (PCSSP) software under open-source licenses. This will allow the IMAS data model to become a worldwide standard for fusion research and lower the barriers to developing, validating, applying and contributing to it.
